Are you struggling with challenges like depression, anxiety, addictions or relationship difficulties? Or perhaps you believe as I do that our sense of ‘who we are’ is ever evolving. We have an opportunity to deepen and grow throughout our lives. Psychodynamic psychotherapy facilitates this deep personal growth through the exploration of our internal and unconscious world. My practice aims to effect changes both internally and externally that will result in a more satisfying, joyful and authentic life. I am a graduate of the highly respected Centre for Training in Psychotherapy in Toronto, where I trained in for eight years in psychodynamic/psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
In my former professional life I was in the entertainment industry and have an affinity with artists and performers. As a child of immigrants I am fascinated by cultural differences and biases. I am also particularly interested in childhood development and enjoy supporting people in their journey as parents.
In private practice since 1999, I work with teens, adults and couples. I invite you to contact me for a complementary 20 minute phone conversation about what you hope for in your therapy and whether we would be a good match.
